Like Jean de Vrailly with his "I'm the greatest knight in world" arrogance, and de Rohan who thinks he can have anything he wants and no one will question his superiority. They help make this story as much as the the heroes do. The weird thing is I enjoy some of the bad guys as much as the good guys. The character development is great in this series and I have grown fond of many of them. ![]() You never know what is coming next and all options are possible. I was a little surprised with this only being book 3 out of 5, but I have come to learn to expect the unexpected when it comes to this series. Cameron spared no expense with the death toll in this volume.
