The chapter comes just days after Martin announced he would not be writing any episodes for "Game of Thrones" Season 6 so he could instead focus on writing "The Winds of Winter." Here's hoping those efforts ensure that Martin will be able to release the book early on in 2016, since we've pretty much been told that 2015 is a no-go by his publisher. You can read the whole thing for yourself here. The chapter itself is called Alayne, and begins with Alayne reading a story to Robert Arryn, and gets much weirder and more complicated from there. The passage takes place at the Vale, and tells of events from the perspective of Sansa Stark, who is going by the alias Alayne Stone. (And if you're just watching the show and don't follow the books at all, you might not want to read past this point.) He promised fans that it would not impede his progress on his long-awaited book The Winds of Winter at all. Martin weighed in on the strike and explained how it would impact his various projects.
